How you want to use the instrument is up to you and the musical choices you make. During your piano lessons I will make you aware of what is possible musically, and how the piano can be played in different styles. 

For beginners, we will make a start with a large introduction to the instrument which includes some basic note reading and playing by ear. The aim is for you to learn a solid musical foundation which will help you in your future musical life.

Students who do have some experience can express what they would like to learn. Together we will make a programme which fits your needs and learning style.

The lessons are very hands and practical by nature. I will make you aware of some of the basic music theory which support your piano playing.
