During your Song Writing lessons we will focus on your own  musical abilities and your vision for your songs. As a vocalist and instrumentalist you can always get better at your craft. Yes you need to keep working on your skills, but you also need to have a vision where it is you want to go with your compositions.

We will work on your instrumental skills in order to support your song writing ideas. We will learn more about harmony, song structure, melody and arrangement of your songs.

There will be time to explore musical styles and the characteristics which make up the various musical styles we know. All of this will support your understanding of how songs and compositions come about and will benefit your own song writing abilities. 

During the lessons I will use the drums, bass guitar and electric guitar to create a accompaniment for your songs. Together we will explore the possibilities of your songs in relation to accompaniment, arrangement, structure and further development.
