Which Ukulele is the best? Usually a larger instrument is easier for students with no experience: The fretboard is a bit wider and there is more space between each string which makes it easier to fret individual notes on the fretboard.
During your first lesson I will make you aware which instrument is the best instrument for you as a beginner.
Once we have made a start with the lessons we will learn about the various parts of the Ukulele. We will play open strings and learn how the instrument is tuned.
You will learn how to play simple melodies by using one note at a time and we will learn how to play simple chords.
I will use various instruments during the lessons to give you the feeling we are making music together.
Students with experience can express their individual needs. Together we will create a lesson programme in aim to support the progress of your Ukulele playing.
Lessons are hands on and we will play the Ukulele as much as possible. There will be a little music theory to explain whatever you play on the Ukulele. You will get introduced to the musical alphabet. The musical alphabet explains us the notes of the open strings and how these strings relate to the notes on the fretboard of the Ukulele.
After your first lesson you will feel that playing the Ukulele can be a very rewarding and relaxing experience at the same time!
